Get a Grip on Python!

A Virtual Workshop Series for Teachers

Whether you are a novice or an advanced Python educator, join us for the Get a Grip on Python! virtual workshop series. Designed for grades 4-12 computer science and STEM teachers, this series takes you beyond the Python with CodeX mission pack to complete 8 new projects, a new project every one-hour session.

In each interactive, 1-hour session you get a hands-on experience with Firia Labs' resources, lesson plans, and project strategies designed to make teaching Python engaging and accessible for all students. Using the CodeX physical device and the CodeSpace sandbox, you will build a complete project every time we meet.

Workshop Schedule

All sessions meet on the second Monday of the month, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM Central Time. Every session is recorded, so you can catch up if you miss one.

Participation Details

• Hardware requirement: A Firia Labs CodeX device is required for these hands-on sessions. Use one you already own, or add one to your registration.
• Equipment shipping: If you do not already own a CodeX, select the registration tier that includes hardware. Once payment is received, your device ships directly to you before the first session.
• Minimum enrollment: A minimum of 10 registrants is required to run the workshop series.
