Getting Started for the Teacher or Home User

This video provides a step-by-step guide to claiming and activating your license, creating a classroom, and adding students to your classroom.

Step 1. Claim Your License

• Option 1: By Claim Code
  • Find the email titled "CodeSpace Claim Code - Firia Labs" from info@firia.com.
  • Note: Check SPAM folder if not in your inbox.
  • Log in to the License Portal and click "CLAIM LICENSE."
  
  • Choose "Find Order by Claim Code."
  • Enter your claim code and submit.
  • Click "CLAIM LICENSE."
• Option 2: Directly Through the License Portal
  • Log in to the License Portal using the email address that was used to place the order or to which the license was assigned.
  • Click "CLAIM ORDER."
  • Click "SHOW ORDERS."
  
  • Locate your order and choose the license to claim.
  

Step 2. Activate Your License

Note: Activating your license begins the countdown to expiration and is a necessary step to set up your classroom in the Teacher Dashboard.

• Log in to the License Portal, click "ACTIVATE."

Step 3. Create a Classroom

• After license activation, go to the Teacher Dashboard.
• Click "Add Classroom."
• Provide a class name and select a product.
• Choose how students will join:
  • Join Code: Enable this option to allow students to join with a code.
  • Email: Disable the join code option to add students manually via email.
• If using Google Classroom, connect it here.

Step 4. Adding Students to a Classroom

• Using Join Code:
  • Share the join code with students. The join code is listed in your table of classrooms here:
  
  • Students log in to CodeSpace, click "Select Class," and enter the join code.
• Manually via Email:
  • In the Teacher Dashboard, select your class.
  • Click the "+" button, choose "Member" as the role, enter the student's email, and add them.
  

Logging in for the Student

This video will walk you through joining your class and accessing CodeSpace as a student!

Step 1. Log in to CodeSpace

• Go to CodeSpace.
• Log in or create an account using the email provided by your teacher.

Step 2. Activate a Mission Pack

• After logging in, click "Select Class."
• Choose the appropriate class and activate it.
• If you have a join code, enter it to access the class.
