CodeSpace Google Classroom Integration
Integrate CodeSpace with Google Classroom to streamline assignment management and student rostering. Follow these steps to connect your class.
Connecting CodeSpace to Google Classroom
Go to classroom.google.com and log in. Either create a new class or find the class you want to link to CodeSpace. To create a new class, click the "+" sign in the top right corner.
Now go to dashboard.firialabs.com and log in. Click the "+" button in the green bar (top right) to add a class.
Name your class, select your product, and choose Google Classroom in the LMS pulldown menu. Find your class name in the Google Classroom list, select it, and click "Create Class."
Click the green "Authorize" button if required. Once authorized, your class will appear in the "Google Class" pulldown.
Click on the name of your class in the Teacher Dashboard and look at the right-hand side. Click "EXPORT CODESPACE ASSIGNMENTS TO LMS."
A pop-up will appear — click "Generate Assignments." If there are assignments you don't want to link, uncheck them before generating.
Click "Close" on the pop-up. The generated assignments will now appear in Google Classroom under Classwork.
Click into each assignment and "Edit assignment" to provide instructions, set a due date, and click "Assign." Your students will now see the posted assignments.
